Iran's President said the U.S. does not want Iran to be independent. Since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, it has sought to create division and discord among the Iranian nation.

Masoud Pezeshkian noted: “If you look throughout all of history, the bullies, the tyrants, and those who committed injustice and used force were all destroyed. The Quran discusses this extensively; on the Day of Judgment, God will judge rulers, families, and individuals based on whether or not they have served their fellow human beings."

President Pezeshkian made the remarks on Friday evening as he met with a group of religious leaders and businessmen on the sidelines of the BRICS Business Forum in New Delhi, India.

Emphasizing resistance against the bullying of the U.S. and the Israeli regime, the President declared that Iran will never bow to oppressors and will confront the false claimants of human rights who label Iran as a terrorist. He also reiterated Iran’s unwavering support for the oppressed and its commitment to defending their rights.

The Iranian President, posing the question of who has given any government the right to force other countries to submit to its own sinister intentions, added: “Who has said that a bullying government can make decisions for the entire world and that others must obey it?"

"We are paying the price for this stance, and as long as we live, we will pursue truth and justice, and we will not bow before oppression, tyranny, and bullying," he stressed.

At the ceremony, the Indian host presented President Pezeshkian with a Love Scarf as a sign of friendship and brotherhood between Iran and India.
