During the meeting, Mohsen Rezaei Rezaei also warned about Israeli activities in the Kurdistan Region, stressing the need to ensure border security, and expand and enhance economic cooperation.
Rezaei reiterated, “We do not trust the United States at all. Washington must take practical steps and win our confidence.”
Bafel Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, fpr his part, welcomed the expansion of economic, security, and diplomatic cooperation, and also stressed the need to resolve the issue of the groups and ensure security along the borders.
