Ali Kazemi, the Judiciary Spokesman, stated that in the case concerning the assassination of the martyred Leader and commanders, 159 senior political and military officials of the U.S. and the Zionist regime have been prosecuted. This includes 92 U.S. and 67 Israeli officials. Indictments have been issued, and the case file has been forwarded to court.
Kazemi added that one of the civil lawsuits being processed at the Tehran Judiciary, filed by a group of citizens, seeks material, moral, and punitive damages. The court has confirmed its jurisdiction to hear the case, and a hearing date will be scheduled soon.
Regarding the case of the martyred commanders, the spokesman noted that files were formed for 15 martyred commanders. Following investigations, indictments were issued for 97 U.S. and Israeli officials, comprising 74 U.S. and 23 Israeli citizens.
Furthermore, Kazemi reported the formation of a case regarding the assassination of martyr Ali Larijani (the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council), martyr Morteza Larijani, and their office staff, adding that the case is in its final stages and will be sent to court shortly after legal procedures are completed and indictments are issued.
Highlighting the domestic and international pursuit of justice, Kazemi stated that around 400 civil cases have been filed in the judiciary, with one case currently under review having over 350,000 plaintiffs.
He concluded that the objective of these measures is to document claims and evidence, conduct judicial reviews, and issue well-reasoned verdicts to facilitate the pursuit of justice both domestically and, if necessary, internationally.
