The ceremony was held at Masjid Al-Sadiq, with student leaders from across Pakistan and families of Pakistani martyrs in attendance.
Speakers, including Syed Nawazish Raza, Allama Syed Nasir Abbas Naqvi, and Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, discussed the philosophy of martyrdom and recent regional developments, stressing that the path of martyrdom associated with Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions continues today.
The Pakistan Imamia Students Organization's scouts held a ceremonial parade and salute, while revolutionary poetry was performed.
Participants also expressed allegiance to the current Leader Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
Exhibitions featuring posters of Resistance martyrs, including young victims of the Minab school tragedy, as well as book and souvenir stalls, were also held.
Irteza Kazim, Head of Imamia Students Organization in Punjab, in an interview with Iran Press, said: These young people belong to the organization which is working to promote "Velayat Faqih". They are working to provide the ground for the "Imam of Zaman" and his reappearance. We have three days program here.
He added: Martyr Imam is the light of our eyes. Although Martyr Imam is not physically with us, his teachings are with us and these young people have a special connection with Martyr Imam.
