Abdollahi made the remarks in a message marking the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the martyred secretary general of Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
The senior commander described Nasrallah as a historic leader whose influence extended beyond Lebanon and had contributed to strengthening the discourse of anti-Israeli resistance across West Asia. He said Nasrallah had become a lasting symbol of the power and unity of the Muslim world.
Nasrallah’s Legacy
Abdollahi described Nasrallah as an architect of modern resistance and a key figure in developing its strategic approach.
He said Nasrallah had demonstrated that real power does not rest solely on military arsenals, but also derives from the connection between nations and the causes they believe in.
According to Abdollahi, Nasrallah developed an approach to crisis management and battlefield leadership that sought to coordinate different arenas of resistance while preserving each front’s operational independence.
The Iranian commander said Nasrallah’s influence had continued beyond his death, arguing that efforts by Israel and the United States to weaken the resistance by eliminating its leaders had failed to achieve that objective.
He said the resistance movement remained active in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen and Iraq, describing the continuation of 'Nasrallah’s path' as evidence of the resilience of the broader resistance front.
Iran’s Readiness
Abdollahi also referred to the recent U.S.-Israeli military attacks against Iran, saying developments in the region had demonstrated that attempts to weaken the resistance had not brought about the outcome sought by its adversaries.
He said the experience of recent conflicts had reinforced the importance of coordination among the various components of the resistance front.
The commander concluded by reaffirming Iran’s military preparedness.
He said the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, alongside fighters of the Islamic Resistance, remain fully prepared to confront threats against the Muslim world and will respond decisively to any such threat.
Abdollahi’s message was issued as Iran and its regional allies commemorate the second anniversary of Nasrallah’s martyrdom, with Iranian officials continuing to emphasize the role of the Resistance Front in their regional security and foreign-policy outlook.
