Protesters gathered outside Palantir’s London headquarters on Thursday as part of the People vs Palantir International Day of Action, opposing the US data analytics company’s role in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). More than 40 demonstrations were held across England, according to Amnesty International UK.

Palantir holds a £330 million contract with NHS England to provide its Federated Data Platform. Official NHS data-governance guidance says the supplier does not control the data and is not permitted to access, use, or share it for its own purposes.

Protesters are demanding that the government terminate the contract and prevent future NHS partnerships with Palantir, citing concerns over patient-data access and the company’s ties to Israel.
