Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan organized a massive rally in Karachi to protest the ongoing atrocities of the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza and to express solidarity with Palestine.

According to Iran Press from Islamabad, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rahman, the chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, addressed the rally and referred to the recent defense pact between Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. He called for the inclusion of Iran, Bangladesh, and other Islamic nations in the agreement, stressing that supporting Palestine and ending the Zionist regime's aggression must be the top priority of any defense treaty among Muslim countries.

Thousands of citizens, including women, children, and the elderly, participated in the "Gaza March" on Karachi's Shahrah-e-Quaideen to declare solidarity with the Palestinians. The rally occurred amid reports that, despite a ceasefire, Israeli attacks continue in parts of Gaza.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman stated: "The first week of October will be dedicated to expressing solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza and Palestine." He also demanded increased efforts for the liberation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, stating that Muslims must not allow sectarian or geographical differences to hinder their support for the people of Palestine and Kashmir.

Referring to the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 7, 2023, he stated that the operation challenged the claimed power of the Zionist regime and brought its true reality to the global public's attention. Criticizing U.S. support for the regime, he said the silence of some Islamic countries only strengthens Israel.

Dr. Mahmoud Yousef Al-Shoubaki, the Mufti of Gaza, also addressed the gathering, thanking the people of Karachi for their presence: "Holding such gatherings shows the people of Gaza that Muslims around the world have not left them alone." He called the Al-Aqsa Mosque the first Qibla of Muslims and urged Islamic unity to protect holy sites.

The rally concluded with participants waving Palestinian and Jamaat-e-Islami flags, holding symbols of Palestine to declare their unwavering support for Gaza.
