Speaking at an online provincial development meeting, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that the country faces unprecedented pressures from war, sanctions, and foreign hostilities aimed at disrupting public services and fueling social discontent.

Pezeshkian stressed that overcoming these restrictions requires close synergy between the government and the private sector, alongside strengthened domestic production.

Addressing the war-related damages inflicted on energy infrastructure and industrial facilities, the President assured that the administration is fully resolved to secure the gas and electricity required for production during the upcoming winter season, calling on local officials and religious leaders to help promote optimal public energy consumption.

Referring further to the damages inflicted on the country’s energy infrastructure and industrial sectors during the war, the President stated that despite attacks on gas facilities, power plants, and factories, the government is determined not to allow the supply of gas and electricity required for production to face problems during the winter season.
