The 26th Tehran International Industry Exhibition opened on Wednesday at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground, bringing together 160 Iranian companies, including 30 knowledge-based firms, alongside representatives from five foreign countries.

The four-day exhibition aims to showcase Iran’s industrial capabilities, promote business and trade cooperation, and present specialized machinery, equipment, and industrial technologies.

Covering approximately 25,000 square meters, the event provides a platform for presenting the country’s industrial capacities and supporting the continuity and expansion of economic and commercial activities.

The opening ceremony was attended by Kasra Nouri, managing director of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company; Javad Hosseini-Kia, a member of the Iranian Parliament representing Sonqor and Koliyaei and a member of the parliamentary Committee on Industries and Mines; as well as government officials, industrialists and industry professionals.

The participation of knowledge-based companies highlights the role of domestic technological capabilities in Iran’s industrial development, while the presence of representatives from five foreign countries offers opportunities to strengthen international business contacts and explore potential areas of cooperation.

The exhibition brings together companies and industry professionals to present products, technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities across Iran’s industrial sector.
