Issuing a statement on Friday, the Public Relations Office of IRGC Navy announced that both vessels had switched off all their navigation and positioning systems and, with the support of the terrorist U.S. army, attempted to exit through the unauthorized route of the Strait of Hormuz.
After several radio warnings that the vessels ignored, they entered an unsafe area, sustained damage, and were stopped off the southern shores of the Strait of Hormuz.
The statement said the fires aboard the violating vessels were the result of the mischief of the U.S. army and the vessels' disregard for Iranian regulations in the Strait of Hormuz.
