Iran’s Judiciary Chief:

Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei has called for expediting judicial proceedings concerning U.S. crimes against the Iranian people, describing the cases as clear examples of state terrorism and violations of key principles of international law.

Speaking at a meeting of the Judiciary’s High Council on Monday, Mohseni-Ejei stressed that while speeding up the proceedings is important, thorough investigations and well-founded judicial rulings must also be ensured.

Addressing social issues, he said the judiciary would not retreat from its direct responsibilities in confronting social misconduct. He added that the judiciary would provide full support to other relevant institutions in fulfilling their responsibilities and would hold them accountable for their duties.

Mohseni-Ejei also praised the Iranian people, describing them as the country's true heroes for their continued presence in streets and public squares for more than 246 nights. He commended the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), the Army, the Basij, the Law Enforcement Command, and intelligence and security forces for their around-the-clock efforts to safeguard the country's security and public stability.

Marking November 4, the National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance, Mohseni-Ejei described the occasion as a symbol of resistance and steadfastness. He said the Iranian nation, under the leadership of Imam Khomeini, challenged U.S. dominance from the early days of the Islamic Revolution.

He added that fighting global arrogance means standing against oppression and defending the oppressed. Mohseni-Ejei also recalled the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s exile in 1964, saying the attempt by the former regime to isolate him ultimately drew greater international attention to his movement.
