Abdollahi issued the message for November 4, the National Day of the Fight against Global Arrogance. He cited Imam Khomeini’s 1964 exile, the 1978 student killings, and the 1979 U.S. embassy (Den of Espionage) takeover.
Abdollahi stated that U.S. hostility had continued since the 1953 coup, citing support for former Iraqi Dictator Saddam Hussein during the eight-year Iraqi invasion of Iran, backing for anti-Iran groups, nuclear scientist assassinations, sanctions, the killing of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, and U.S.- Israel participation in wars 2 and 3 against Iran in 2025 and 2026.
He said these conflicts led to the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, commanders, fighters, and civilians, including children.
Major General Ali Abdollahi said Iran has emerged as the world’s fourth pole of power, and he linked that standing to Iran’s control of the Strait of Hormuz as a “vital strategic energy chokepoint.”
Abdollahi framed the message around a “Third War,” describing it as a 40-day conflict imposed jointly by the United States and Israel against the country on February 28.
He added that Iran had moved from defense and crisis management toward shaping regional order. Military power, he noted, was a means, not an end, and Iran did not seek war.
Major General Abdollahi has outlined five principles for peace and security in West Asia, namely ending hostilities on all fronts, particularly in Lebanon and Gaza; lifting sanctions and releasing frozen Iranian assets; compensation for imposed wars; recognizing Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz and replacing the US security umbrella with a Hormuz mechanism; and guarantees against renewed aggression, alongside regional security arrangements.
