On 3 November 2026, a group of activists gathered outside the ExCeL London exhibition center to protest against the presence of what they described as the apartheid regime at a three-day travel and tourism market event being held at the venue.

The demonstration was organized in opposition to the participation of Zionist groups at the tourism-focused expo. According to protesters, representatives of these groups were present at the event and expressed disappointment at the participation of Palestine supporters.

In an exclusive interview with an Iran Press correspondent in the United Kingdom, a protest attendee identified as Angie said: "I demand that they stand by what they say. We have asked them to stand up for us and against the wrong happening around the world. It baffles me how certain nations receive support, recognition and the help they need, whereas this seems to be swept under the carpet too often."

Suzan, an Iranian national attending the protest, told Iran Press: "The entire economy of Israel is the economy of genocide and apartheid. They should not be platformed at this event."

The protest underscores growing grassroots opposition to the participation of Israeli-linked entities in international cultural and commercial events, with activists calling for greater accountability from organisers.
