In a message posted on X, Araghchi attached Macron's earlier message to the U.S. President in support of the war against Iran and wrote: "Mr. Macron made his bed when he assured POTUS that he welcomes atrocities against Iranians."
The Iranian foreign minister added: "Too late to blame the war his ilk helped cause. The French people demand wholesale change, including freedom of assembly."
Concluding his message, Araghchi stated: "Listen to the future of France, Mr. President."
